The local PBS station did a great segment on last years Electric Vehicle Conversion Conference in Cape Girardeau Missouri . I drove 500 miles in 24 hours in my 2008 Roadster, to be part of the convention. It is a 30 minute segment and is one of the best and most balanced coverage I have seen about electric vehicles.

Cape Girardeau Missouri is also the home of EVTV and Tesla fan Jack Rickard.

OK, at least one of the sig Model S reservation holders reeeally needs to take their car to this. September 26-30.

Thanks for date correction, I was looking at last year's itinerary, oops.

I understand with the core focus being the EV conversion crowd, the Model S wouldn't be a main highlight, but it would be cool if some attendees (or hosts!) have them there nonetheless.

My Roadster was at the 2011 conference and I gave MANY people rides including Jack's mother who then told Jack she wanted one
. I and the car were well received and we shared many common interests.
