The Model Y era is upon us. Tesla is expected to start delivery of its electric crossover SUV this month. While the Model 3 was a bit of a rollercoaster roll out, the Model Y program is expected to be much smoother. The earliest production Model Ys have been spotted staged at Tesla’s factory and...

I find it funny that one of the concerns for Tesla from potential buyers is "concern over companies future". With a market cap more than Ford and GM combined...should that be the concern for Ford?

I still think it should have been called the Bronco, not the Mustang. Mustangs don't have four doors. But then again, neither did Jeep Wranglers and look how those things are all over the place now.

I would have gone with Stallion, similar to Mustang but different, bigger and stronger, not a Pony.

Even better, since Broncos weren't four-door vehicles either, the "Bronco II" got rebadged as Explorer when it went to four doors, wow that's been 30 years now.

"Those who were leery of electrification before could find comfort in a trusted brand like Ford"...

Also made me laugh out loud. I grew up in a time when American car manufacturers kept quality as low as possible to maximize profits = no trust here in a brand like Ford.

    To me Ford means:

    Fix
    Or
    Repair
    Daily

    Found
    On
    Roadside
    Dead

That's really the point. Ford had to find a model name that had some panache, and settled on Mustang.
Really, they should have come up with a new model name, but they didn't.
