What if you can dramatically reduce the amount of heat entering the cabin and improve your EV range? Contact us at 888.878.2213 to book your Window Tint Appointment Now for your Tesla! It has been proven that with our window films you reduce the amount of kW used, thus improving your total range. This is a super advanced Japanese product that adapts and transitions with thermal heat. The hotter it gets, the more the heat rejection properties increase! No other product like it on the market. The most advanced technology in automotive window film comes in our Spectra PhotoSync® Series. Utilizing the latest in our Solar Adaptive Coating (SAC), this nano technology window film adjusts its solar energy rejecting properties based on solar intensity. The uniqueness to PhotoSync® lies in the integration of two key technologies: Solar Adaptive Nano Coating This coating will adjust itself once certain wavelengths of the solar spectrum are exposed to the film. This will trigger an immediate adjustment of the film’s heat rejecting properties to synchronize with solar intensity. This transitional effect increases Total Solar Energy Rejection (TSER) up to 79% while retaining an impressively light and clear shade. Infrared Rays (IR) Coating Integration The solar spectrum consists of 3 main properties: Ultraviolet, Visible light, and Infrared Rays (IR). IR accounts for 53% of the spectrum, so PhotoSync’s® high 98.5% IR rejection rate serves as a constant measure of product performance. The technological advances of Prestige’s coatings allows for high performance of PhotoSync® without the use of any metallics, which means no interference of wireless transmission signals (e.g. GPS, cell signals, radio waves, keyless entry systems, satellite, etc.). PhotoSync® will continuously produce up to 98.5% IR rejection between 950nm-2500nm. UV Protection PhotoSync®, also rejects 99.5% of ultraviolet rays (both UVA and UVB), which means occupants and the interior components of your vehicle are protected from harmful UV rays. Gone are the days of using old window tint technologies to protect new technology vehicles. Ask for PhotoSync® from your local tint installer. Spectra PhotoSync® Performance chart
It is possible to tint the windshield in one piece. However, it is very difficult and time consuming to do so. If you are willing to pay $$$ for a one-piece film, then there are installers that will give it a shot. Two piece windshields look really good with a clear film. I will try to see if I can dig up some pictures of how miniscule the seam is.
This one is waiting to get Photosync installed on the sides/back and front windshield. Finished installing custom forged Vossen Wheels on this MX, Lamborghini colored calipers, and Clearguard Nano on the entire vehicle + Photosync on all windows including the windshield. Prepping this one for Photosync: Finished this one with Photosync on the sides/back: Before/After on a MS after getting Photosync: This one was a project! Ceramic glass coating on the entire painted surface + Clearguard Nano clearbra on the entire vehicle + Photosync all around as well: 2 more waiting for Clearguard Nano and Photosync: Here's another white MS getting Photosync installed. We finished installing Clearguard Nano clearbra on the front end before we started the tint:
What's your thoughts on tinting the rear window of the 3? Since it's mostly tinted already, do you think it makes sense to just tint the remaining part that isn't tinted or tint the whole thing? My concerns is that if just tint the lower part that isn't tinted already, it will look weird from the outside and probably hard to match the darkness of the tint. However if tint the whole thing, the part that is already tinted will be very dark as it will essentially be double tinted. Probably don't know the answer until someone tries it, but curious to see what you think.
Thanks for the question! Tinting just a portion of the rear window may not only look weird and not match from the outside, but possibly the inside too. It's hard to say since we haven't seen the 3 in person. If you're going to tint the rear window, I'd say do the whole rear window. If heat blockage is important to you, I definitely wouldn't have it any other way.
Just finished installing Photosync and Ceraluxe window tints on this black MS. The gray MS in the back already got Photosync and Clearguard Nano installed, and is getting a blackvue dash cam installed.
Photosync 75 on the front windshield. The paint is protected as well in our clearguard nano, and the hood is wrapped in matte clearbra. Two blue MS' getting Photosync and Clearguard Nano Woah! This picture is old! MS getting Photosync: 2 here getting Photosync tint and Clearguard Nano clearbra This MX is getting tinted too:
Here are pictures of a 2-piece Photosync 75 on a MX. We can do a 1 piece but the 2 piece has been very popular with our clients. Clients often wonder what the seam/line looks like where the films meet. If you can't see it or it doesn't bother you, a 2 piece may be the way to go if you're looking for a more affordable option.
It's a Tesla Saturday! Ceraluxe window tint going on the MX and Photosync going on the MS + front windshield + sunroof.
We used Ceraluxe 33% on this Tesla. Ceraluxe is a quantum ceramic tint created by the same company that brings us Photosync window film. Incredible heat rejection.
Beautiful new MX getting Photosync done on all windows, including the front windshield. 75% in the front windows, 45% in the rears.
