This vlog was mainly to showcase our vinyl wrap project on the 3, but since it did receive Photosync 30% window tint on the sides and back, I want to post that here for you to see to get an idea on the darkness. If you're considering wrapping your Tesla, check out the color while you're at it!

~ 5:45 mark for Model 3 Satin Frozen Vanilla project start

Here’s a popular set of services that new Y owners love getting.

Full car is wrapped in clearbra for ultimate protection against scratches/rock chips, tint on all the windows, center console wrapped in satin black, and ceramic coating on top of the paint for that hydrophobic action. Since it was raining in the video, you can see all the water beading taking effect on the paint, which is really cool. A bit of driving and the water will bead right off.

Every window on this is tinted. Photosync 30 on sides and back, 70 on front windshield, and 30 on the sunroof. Notice how much ligher it is looking OUT vs looking IN. The best of both worlds when it comes to visibility and privacy.

With summer rolling around, we'll be using our cars a lot more for fun, so here's 2 popular products/services to prep you for whatever adventures this summer brings!

Clearbra - perfect way to protect and preserve the new paint for years to come. Buffers against scratches, rock chips, and scuffs. Plus it's hydrophobic--making your car easier to clean!

Photosync window film - the highest heat blocking tint available in the market. A MUST for us Texans who spend a lot of time driving for work or trips. Increase your battery life by reducing your AC usage and keep your interior cool and comfortable no matter how hot it gets this year.

With the increasing amount of Tesla deliveries as of late, an inevitable question will arise for all of us Texans: with all these big windows, how do we keep the heat out? 😅

A quick rule of thumb is to look at the TSER% number on any tint spec sheet. This will help you determine how much heat's getting blocked. Find the highest number possible for the most comfortable interior possible.

Here's a Y that we tinted with Photosync on all the windows. Highly recommend this for anyone who's serious about keeping their interior cool as possible.

With Texas heating up, there's many of us getting tint done for our first time. So here's a brief video for anyone who's about to go pick up their car after getting it tinted and want to know what to expect & how to check their tint for a quality job. We quickly talk about the curing process, as well as some general things you may notice after your car is freshly tinted that new tint owners may not be aware of.

We got our first Model S PLAID in and we've transformed it into the ultimate daily driver! We tinted all the windows with Photosycn. 30% on the sides/back, 70% on the roof and front windshield. The ultimate solution to keep your interior extremely comfortable and maximize range by minimizing A/C usage.

Quick tip for anyone planning to get high heat blocking tint for summer: start booking your appointment early. Typically tint shops get booked fast and throughout summer early so those who wait until the last minute end up getting dates AFTER summer. Depending on how popular your local shop is, they may be seeing a rush since January.

If you need tips on choosing the right tint, we have videos on our channel to help. Here's a 3 with Photosync window tint.

Don't get fooled--ceramic tint ISN'T the "best" tint out there. What matters more is the TSER% when it comes to maximizing heat rejection. If you need help picking out tint for summer, here's a quick guide.

I posted this awhile back, but it's so important for you not to get caught up in buying a tint just because it's "ceramic". That term has been so overly commercialized and manipulated that it's lost most of its importance now. Yes, ceramic is good, but you'd be shocked how many films out there are ACTUALLY ceramic. Most just call their films ceramic because that's the only term the general, uneducated public know when it comes to tint. Please don't be deceived.

We're moving!

It's not easy to move everything over from one shop to another, especially when you've gathered over a decade worth of stuff, SO here's what we're doing: we're doing specials on vinyl wraps, tints, and clear bras! If you've been looking to get a vinyl wrap, tint, or clear bra, hit us up. You get special pricing, and we carry less over to the new shop. It's a win-win!

If you’re shopping for window tint, then you NEED to know that this exists.

There’s hundreds of tint brands out there, but this one blocks the most from what we’ve discovered. It’s called Photosync IRD. Extremely popular for people looking for the highest heat blocking tint out there and won’t settle for less. If you want to keep your interior as comfortable as possible, you have to at least consider this as a possible option for your Tesla:

Here’s a quick guide on how to shop for the RIGHT window tint for YOUR Tesla. Few easy tips will make your decision process a lot easier by teaching you what to look for based on your needs, how to read specification sheets, and what to avoid. There’s not a 1 size fits all tint, so by understanding these basics, you can cater your search by your needs.
