Getting closer to it finally being legit. It will detect the voltage and amp then use a stepper motor to count the counter up at the correct kw rate.
got a custom PCB worked up to control it all.

That is so epically cool. Now I want to do something similar with one of the old vertical globe-head pumps.
be prepared for sticker shock on how much the old timers want for those.
my next one will have a spinner in it. I want to control a pump with liquid that moves the spinner.

I just finished this project. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
That’s a Tele-Gauge. There’s a spinning wheel inside that shows you the gas is flowing. Entertaining while you are pumping gas
