I think so. I was just coming here to see if it was just me or if anyone else knew what was up. It's sad, I could really use it right now!

Crazy to think how reliant many of us are on this independent, and barely maintained site. I couldn't imagine what would happen if it went away, it's awesome.

I wonder if anything bad happens, they'd be willing to "open source" it or let members of TMC run it.

I'd be down to host it...

FWIW - It appears the server the site is hosted on is down. I can't ping it and a traceroute shows that it's looping once it hits the West Coast pipe (Frontiernet).

I have notified the site author, who will be looking into fixing the issue.

On a road trip now, glad I printed the basic route stops a few days ago. Will be happy to see it up soon!

The in-car planner isn't the best at routing more than one supercharger.

let's all donate to this very useful resource if/when it comes back to life.

maybe its just down b/c the author is adding the 70, the 90, the X, the P etc etc etc...

Like I said, I'm down to donate free hosting. My hosting service offers me unlimited bandwidth, unlimited domains, and unlimited storage so I really don't mind...

I am happy to donate for the hosting and his time to update it. I use it for all my long trips.

Well, he has our full attention now!

It would be great to have it intergrated with the Nav, but I doubt that will happen.

if its on frontier, it's probably caught in the FiOS takeover troubles, as Verizon sold its west coast assets to Frontier and they are messing everything up trying to integrate them.

    Hello All -

I sent an email and here's the response just in from Ben, our young hero of the evtripplanner site:

"The site is down, sorry. I'm working on it now but it probably won't be back until Tuesday.

    Thanks for you patience,
    Ben.."

I too really appreciate EvTripPlanner.com. Used for a round trip through the southwest and it was great. I found it gone when trying to check on a short local business trip. I'm planning to donate when it's back up.

Did you happen to pass on any of the hosting offers here? having some redundancy wouldn't hurt...

It's amazing how painful it's absence is... It's become essential.
