I like the looks. Shades of Nissan GT-R and that original artists rendering of what they thought Model S might look like
Looks very nice, but also looks like it's well beyond what I am willing to spend. I especially like LED light-pipes as design elements.
So, this 2+2 larger car, with same range battery, and weight of two motors will go 0-60 in less time than the Roadster. How do they do that? Oh, right, this is a concept.
Roadster beating hype. Nice looking car but I don't know why they'd muck it up with an ICE. It has plenty of range, (if it's real), and it would perform even better without the ICE anchor on board.
Is this vehicle operating as a hybrid like my GS 450h? It sure wasn't moving too quickly in that vid...
The Exagon is just a concept for right now but the Roadster is actually is on the road. Just my .02 cents. On a more serious note...another EV only justifies the lead that Tesla Motors has established.
Test on track of the Furtive e-GT (the video is in french). Exagon Furtive e-GT: All-Electric French Coupe Test Driven by Nicolas Prost at Magny-Cours - Carscoop
Need to check in more often, I was slow seeing this. Found a few more videos from that same press day though. VIDEO: Nicolas Prost drives the Exagon Furtive e-GT at Magny-Cours
There is also adjustable pedal and ABS response, and some more I don't understand (I'm not much into cars). But they say it's a validation console, so probably it won't be present in the final car. This dashboard seems to be only for testing purpose. See here another version of the dashboard :
Some news from french websites: - 300km (186 miles) in combined cycle (1/3 city, 1/3 road, 1/3 highway) - 0-60 in 3.5s - small range extender in option - 4 (or 2+2) seater - 300 000€ (about 380 000 $) - already 60 reservations - the target is 30 000 sell worldwide Photo gallery: Masculin.com - Furtive-eGT : la supercar française : Image 15 sur 15
IMO, this vehicle is 2x or 3x overpriced -- bland styling, middling numbers for this sector, only okay distance. But, then again, I buy wine and cheese from France, not cars.
Yes, when I compare it to the kharma (4 seater, range-extended, sporty look), I think it's 2x overpriced. But since exagon builds electric snow racers, performance-wise it can be really good. Time will tell, they intend to sell it starting october
