Experienced ICE racer gets his first of many EV grins

    That is exactly the experience (well, more refined) of driving a Model S or ,I imagine, a Roadster. The fun of really really simple controls.

    I noticed this guy was shifting. Interesting!

    Yeah, the series DC motors have similar RPM's as an ICE, around 6k max, but loads of torque, so it looks as if they went with a racing auto transmission with manual shift. Dual Warp11 motors and the Shiva 3000+ amps max current controller means this thing should have insane torque.

    I think it's a three speed, but don't quote me on that.

    Also have a practice run and qualifying run up, too.
