Experiences with US Bank for loan?

Well for most people saving up tens of thousands of dollars isn't trivial, I hope you realize how fortunate you are if it's just a second though. Also, money is cheap these days.

Why not just save up the money and buy it? Would cost you much less?

If you have the money, you're likely better off investing it (the S&P 500, for example, returns an average of 7% per year).

Generally borrowing at any less than 5% you can easily make that back and more putting the money in the stock market. I have the cash for the car but I am still taking a loan at 2.5%

I called and they said my statement was just printed on the 28th, so I should be receiving it in a few days, at which point I'll be able to set up my online account. Thanks for the help!

Can I ask what number you called?

Picked up my M3 12/26/21 and still no loan docs up to this day.

Perfect. Just called and they were able to pull up my account and send me an email of my statement with account #.

My due date is 2/9/22. Getting close.

What kind of APR you all getting with US Bank? I have a 815 credit, debt to income of 10%. I can't imagine why I wouldn't get the 2.5. They approved me at 2.76 and Tesla said they can't shop around for me because I always accepted the offer from US Bank.

So I just financed through Tesla, and was quoted at 2.74% from US Bank. It looks like Tesla recently bumped their rates from 2.49% (lowest floor) to 2.74%. They won't go any lower than that number now AFAIK. If you want lower, you'll need to do third-party financing outside Tesla.
