Expiring Limited Warranty

Hi, I have a 2016 model X with 39K miles and...
my limited warranty is up December 4th 2021 or 60K miles, whichever comes first. The warrantee for your motor and battery is good until January 13th of 2024 without a mileage cap.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have to assume that the cost of repairing anything will be very high, so am leaning towards purchasing an extended plan, and wonder whether anyone might recommend the best one. I expect to have the car for two years more.

It's up to your approach to managing risks.

Some would prefer to pay in advance so in worst cases, the expenses are already paid + $200 with each visit.

Some people prefer not to do that because statistically, the house always wins.

@Sohoprom I recently asked the same question, am NOT going to bother with the extended warranty. Tomorrow this time any issues with car will need to be fixed out of pocket .
