Explain this supercharger math

cost to build a Tesla supercharger is $150-250k to build. Tesla wants to have 10,000 in two months. Does that mean (using $200k) Tesla will 'control' $2B of super chargers?

What math am I doing wrong?

Up till recently this was not even a profit center. Wonder if charging dramatically changes if this will be one thing Tesla retrofits.

Cost to add to existing supercharger site would be much smaller. Now that Tesla is a known entity, I wonder if some property owners actually want to have high-end cars parked for a half hour with owners wandering around looking for something to buy.

Elon often intermixes "superchargers" with "supercharger stalls" and you have to kind of read between the lines to figure out which he means at the time. When he says they'll add 10,000 "superchargers" it probably means "supercharger stalls". So figure out the average cost of a stall, and start over.

This has been the sell since day one. I'd almost pay to have one as part of a hotel project. Seems that tesla is pretty picky on locations though.
