I am from Brazil and would like to import a model X over here. I am talking with the dealer in Miami, yet they told me i have to pay sales taxes and register in the US prior to export to Brazil.
I would like to export the car and was hoping to get all the possible tax exemptions since it's an export in order to lower the total cost, because in Brazil we still pay a lot of taxes to import so the lower the invoice the better.
Anybody knows ways to export without the taxes? I am trying to reach Tesla, but it seems they don't export to Brazil.
