Looks better than the Sector111 that was posted here:
This new one seems to cover the "roll bar" too. Does anyone know if the new one seen is a factory hardtop or aftermarket?
Above on the right is Craig Davis, Sales & Marketing Director TM Europe, with what has to be one of their marketing cars. Therefore I'd highly doubt it's aftermarket.
Looks like the regular Hardtop just in CF though, no?
The reason this I posted this separate from the other thread is because it's a factory hardtop.
Yes. The only reason it's of special interest is because people have been waiting many months for it.
So am I. I doubt that I'm ever going to install it once it gets here though. Driving with the top off even in the cold is just too much fun.
I've stopped asking about my hardtop since it never arrives by the expected date (3 or 4 times now). It's great having to wear a jacket just to drive...
I was told a couple of weeks ago that the hang up in delivering the clear tops is getting the headliner to adhere to the underside of the top. I guess the standard stickum isn't working.
I heard the same.
The Tesla exposed Carbon Fiber top is seen on their Roadtrip car.
If I said I preferred mine as it's lower and fits the doors properly - check the top of the door, there's a knock out that's designed to fit the Lotus roof... would that sound like source grapes?
