Extended Warranty (Australia)

My MX is heading out of the 4 year new car warranty. Just found out that Tesla have stopped offering the option to purchase a 2 or 4 year extension, which is quite disappointing.

Given the MX is known for acting up, I'm quite keen to have some form of cover.

Anybody have any recommendations or suggestions of which company to purchase an extended warranty from?

Tesla refused to replace my MS door handles under warranty, even when I complained and said they were legally required under the ACL. Because the problems were due to known manufacturing defects IMHO. They instead offered a discount (=$493 total to fix two doors) on replacing the door handles and promised that this would be a permanent fix. Which was a promise that had nothing to back it up.

I think realistically you would have to take them to court to get them to honor the ACL.
