We have been receiving A LOT of people purchasing our 10 year and 125,000 mile warranty for their Model 3's. Although we do not have a ton of data with Model 3 about some of the component failures, it might be beneficial to show what we are seeing with Model S and Model X.

Here are just some of the component failures we have seen and have already paid claims for:

• MCU: $3,400
• Onboard Charger: $2,400
• HV Harness: $200-$1,000
• DC-to-DC Converter: $2,000
• AP Sensors/Radar/Cameras: $500-$1,500
• HVAC/Thermal Management System: $1,000-$2,000
• Electronic Control Module: $700-$1,000

We have a claims process that was built separately for Tesla owners that is simple and easy. This gives us the ability to pay out claims directly to Tesla.

1. Call the X-Care 1-800 claims number to start your claim and tell us what issues you are having
2. Self schedule service using your Tesla App
3. You arrive for service (or mobile service comes to you) and completes your repair
4. Have your service advisor call the 1-800 claim number for immediate payment minus the $100 deductible that you will pay directly to Tesla
