I posted about my experience with the delivery of my vehicle three weeks ago and had some good advice about staying patient. In a nutshell, my delivery was set for June 26. Since then, I’ve had at least seven calls since delaying the delivery due to sensor issues with the brakes, eventual replacement of the sensor, brake calipers and now brake lines. Tesla has a sizable downpayment and my first bank note was due and paid on Thursday, July 18. I got a call again this morning saying that parts did arrive and my vehicle is in repairs again but won’t be ready until Monday, which I actually don’t believe will be the case. I finally called corporate Tesla and complained this morning and said that one good resolution would be for Tesla to reimburse my first monthly payment or maybe two, depending on when they actually fix my brand new vehicle.
