I stumbeld across this old thread and cought this:

Think about all the shows, factory demos, test rides for buyers, potential buyers, Celebs, Diplomats, Press (Dan Neil even drove it) and lucky regular folks who have ridden in it with it's balls cut off.

And Martin posted this some days ago:

I just took EP5 out for a drive with the new electro-hydraulic 2-speed transmission. Traction control was off. *Nice.* Freaking fast - I got the thing very sideways as I blew out of the driveway, and left rubber all the way down Varian Street. We've got work to do, but it rocks. And you guys will love the sound of the transmission as it shifts.

I assume he hit it in the first gear. I have a feeling public doesn't fully appreaciate what is comming.
