The only problem with putting it by the blue arrow is that if you decide to install Tesla's Sun Shade, the transponder may interfere with the Sun Shade. At best you might simply have a bulge in that location or at worse the Sun Shade can't be securely fastened.

How about where to hook in to switched 12v for radar detector pick up model x tomorrow and thanx for info on ez pass etc mine is in nose cone of my S as the windshield blocks all else

Well, the dash can I bought pirates it off of the rear view mirror - if you unplug the lower cover on the mirror, there's a four pin connector that includes switched 12V, and they engineered it so the dashcam had a matching pair of plugs so you just put out between the vehicle and mirror (and the mount replaces that lower cover.)
