Facial recognition option to e-sign documents

So Tesla tries to get you to e-sign your documents before taking delivery through use of facial recognition. For those who did it, what was the process like? I was thrown off and backed out of the flow and never got that option again - instead it went through another e-sign flow.

They lined you up against a wall (actually, in front of a wall) and take a front and two angled photos, which are electronically compared with your driver's license photos you submitted when ordering. That's it. Takes two minutes.

The whole delivery process was unbelievably quick and efficient. From ordering through delivery I never once signed a piece of paper. Other states may have different requirements.
