Factory Reset Option?

I did some searching but couldnt find anything, but sorry if this is a duplicate.
I am picking up a 2nd Hand Tesla tomorrow from a non Tesla dealer.

Wondering if there is a way to factory reset the car to get rid of any previous owner presets, like seat setting, GPS suspension adjustments, etc? Basically so I can just start fresh.

Yep. It's easily done through the center screen by selecting the following sequence of options:

Controls > Settings > Service & Reset > Factory Reset > Erase & Reset

Nope - it's harmless, aside from losing any saved destinations.

If there is a downside to this, it is that the car has memorized _all_ charging locations the previous owner used. These can include many non-Tesla chargers... so this resource is lost to you. On the other hand, if the previous owner lived in a different state (mine was about 5 states over), then it might not matter.

Is there any better reset, from service menu? There is some reinstall option in service mode, is it bad to use it?
