Three days ago I got the notification that a new update was available. I set it to install. In the morning though the car had an error to contact support. The message has been persistent while driving. Turns out the autopilot and presumable other safety features are now not available. I called them and spent some time on hold. That night the car let me do another attempt at installation. It also failed. Anybody having the same problem? Did you need a ranger to come out? Thanks!

Same thing happened to me, but the second update succeeded and the car is back to normal. Hope yours sorts itself out quickly.

Hmm, okay. Did you have to call service to get the second update?

This is a known thing I read an article was being fixed with ota. Not sure why it only affected certain people.

Yes.. Know issue. If actually had an IT guy from Tesla call me after multiple failed installs. He said they needed to reformat the SD card. Anyways, no problems since.
