After reading this link, I tried this. Remember, I do not show on the Safety & Security page anything about 'allow keyless driving'. So I leave the fob about 50 feet away, go to the car only with my phone, go to the Tesla app/Controls and press Start. It says 'Enable Keyless Driving' and forces me to enter my Tesla password, then says I have 2 minutes to enter the car and press the brake pedal. After pressing Unlock to open the door, I get in and drive away.
How Does Tesla Keyless Driving Work?.
I assume if I stop the car, it would force me to go through the entire process again. Obviously, driving with the fob saves alot of time!
