Faint blinking white light in the passenger footrest

In my 2022 M3LR I've noticed at night that there appears to be a faint blinking white light in the passenger footwell.
I figure it's likely something under the dash that is leaking light.
Anyone else notice this in their M3?

It's the car computer - that baby's tucked up in the passenger footwell on the firewall. It does have a couple of blinkenlights.

There are also ambient lights in the footwells, which you can turn on and off in settings.

Are yours working? Or perhaps yours are out with the exception of an occasional flicker on the passenger side?

Have 'em, they work.
This faint flickering happens after the doors are closed and the ambients turn off.

I have this also on my 2022 3. I asked a tech and he said probably a plug was missing and to schedule service. It’s super annoying when someone’s sitting there and their right foot glows a little. Did you get it sorted?

I have not - figured it was standard behavior based on the prior info.

I have the same thing and it is not from the footwell light. It’s from a different source.

I’ve just had this start happening to my 2022 as well. So weird!

When my car was in after I posted. They plugged it and no more strobe light during dark times. It was a warranty item
