Falcon wing door sensor and xpel ultimate wrap

I am looking to add the Xpel ultimate clear wrap down to both doors since the X tends to pick up a lot of junk and shoot it to the doors. Xpel is way thicker than what Tesla tolerates in terms of thickness. Has anyone run into problem with the door sensor because of it?

I asked that question some time ago and most everyone said no problems. I have contracted to have Suntek Ultra Matte on mine when it arrives...there are TONS of folks on the forums who have full body wraps, including in Matte, and I’ve never seen anyone complain about the FWD functions.

No issues with having any film installed. Look into getting ClearGuard Nano instead of Xpel. Xpel has a grainier / orange peel texture. Clearguard by far is the clearest and glossiest film on the market.

I have Xpel on mine, no issues with the sensors. I think the sensors work much better than people give them credit for.

My car as of yesterday with a light coating of salt, dust, and dirt...the sensors work just fine.
