Faulty fast charge contactors

Hi all,

A couple weeks ago I got a pair of warnings right after powering up the car from a couple days' worth of sleep: "Electrical system power reduced/vehicle may shut down unexpectedly" and "Unable to charge/Charge port door must be closed to drive". (The charge port door was closed, FYI) The warnings came with a bunch of contactor clicking but after a few seconds, the warnings went away, the clicking stopped and the car behave/drove normally. The same thing happened again a few days later (the whole sequence took place twice).

I decided to take the car in for service. The service center confirmed the warnings and made the diagnosis: faulty "fast charge contactors":

Qty 1: ASY,FC COVER AND HARNESS,1PH,M3(1118833-10-C)
Qty 1: ASY,FC CONTACTOR,HVBAT,MDL3(1095145-00-G)

Parts were replaced under warranty and I was sent on my way.

My car was built 10/18 and is still on the original 12V battery. I've never gotten a 12V battery warnings.

Is this a common issue?
