Okay okay, gotta play. Head nod to the amazing folks at Tesla -apologiestothoseImforgettingtomentionhere, but Jake Evangelos.

Jake was over in Menlo Park Service, is now heading up parts out of Fremont.
So thanks, Jake. You are the example that turned Roadster owners into such loyal fans.

I second that.

He was great with my Roadster. Anytime a small issue came up, I could just call him or email him directly.

I hate to reply to these kind of threads, especially since all of the Tesla employees I have dealt with directly have been good, but I have to post this because a certain Tesla employee has clearly gone above and beyond just employee status. His name would be Jason from the Portland Service Center.

If it wasn't for him, my first couple of days with the Model S would have been a very bad disappointment because I had problems either late at night, or a weekend from, day 1. He ALWAYS answers his phone, no exceptions(dozens of calls when I had problems), and is very understanding of the situation. I know he isn't on the clock when this happens, but nevertheless he tries to help. That is beyond amazing to me. Thank you very much, Jason.

Joost deVries literally walked down the assembly line to report on my car in progress every day, then personally moved it along when it looked like they were going to delay delivery yet again when the car had been entered in a car show for the weekend before the fact. I could not believe the extra care and service.

I also feel like family when Alex Frank is around.

Dan Myggen tried to console me about custom colors on a Sig, but could not. Luckily Joost came along and it got done.

Joost does not work at Tesla anymore. Dan Myggen would get my vote, best employee at Tesla hands down.

I have to say Ted Merendino exemplifies what any company would want in a perfect employee. Five years ago he walked us though the process if getting an amazing custom color on our Roadster and since then when we meet at every Tesla event he is cheerful, positive and more excited about Tesla and it's products than anyone I know. His infectious energy setting would have exceeded the limits at Wardenclyffe[FONT=arial, sans-serif].

Too many great people there to have a favorite but thought I'd mention Seneca, Meridith, Angie, Ross, Jing, Whitney, Daniel...etc the entire ownership team and especially the service people including Brian, Richard, Eric, Lawrence and many others. Tough to name everyone and not leave someone out somehow. This is kind of like an Oscar acceptance speech I guess=)

I would second Seneca - he's got staying power at Tesla and that's saying something!

Angie Schmitt (sp?) was awesome; she got promoted. None of the people who succeeded her as my "contact" at Tesla HQ were nearly as good. Sigh. So she's my vote so far.

Nick from the Philly Service Center has been great so far, really easy to reach, though I will have to reserve judgment until I get my actual defroster upgrade...

Dan from the NY Service Center, who handles registration & titling in NY, was the only one who was able to straighten out my paperwork mess...

The Delivery Specialist who actually delivered my car was a blast, and was actually careful to point out some of the bad points of it (thank you SO much!).... but embarassingly, I've forgotten his name and didn't write it down. He was in Spamalot, though. :)

I won't say negative things about the people I had trouble with, because I think they were just in over their heads and are probably doing a better job now. They were *all* well-meaning, without exception.

Andrew Clark, a Delivery Specialist in the northeast, has been a stand-out in my experience -- just the right blend of professional and friendly, with a complete command of his job. Which is not to take away anything from the other fine employees I've met, many named above, but the thread wouldn't be complete without a +1 to Andrew.

I give a +10 for Sean Berwald at Ownership Experience. I am amazed at how good he is a what he does, his level of knowledge, and compassion. Sean has always gone above and beyond to exceed my expectations. I hope Tesla has a high level position for him someday soon. They need more like him.

As you all say there are too many people to list. I have yet to run into a Tesla employee who doesn't share the whole Tesla enthusiasm.

I also want to give a special thanks to:

Bill and Chip at San Diego Service just for always being at the end of the phone line.
Peter and Nate, the San Diego store managers who make us feel so welcome when we come in.
John, Andrew, and Tim at Fremont delivery. Just great hard working guys who share the dream.

While I'm sure GeorgeB will be honored by the love, I think the idea is to find people in the non-executive ranks, sort of the unsung heroes of Tesla. George, JB, Franz, Elon, Gilbert et al get plenty of recognition (deservedly so)! Teslive, if I'm wrong let me know.

I'd hate to nominate just one or two people because everyone I deal with at Tesla has been great! I'd nominate the entire South Florida operation if I could -- Sales, Service, and Delivery Specialists.

The one person I'd single out for special recognition is Neil Joseph. At a time when communication with Sig owners was at a low point and there was growing frustration, he worked tirelessly (literally, I don't think he slept for weeks at a time) to communicate with people and placate those of us who were growing increasingly anxious. He singlehandedly took an experience that was growing increasingly negative and turned it into a positive. And I know I wasn't the only one he did that for. He was also incredibly honest and forthcoming with information and admitting mistakes -- exactly the ideal example of a GREAT Tesla employee. I would love to see him recognized in some way.

+1 for Neil Joseph
He really went out of his way to seek me out and help me.

My experiences are limited so far, as i'm just now putting down my deposit sometime this week... but my vote goes to the Service Manager in Watertown, MA, Matt Boarman.

I've been on the fence for a little while about the car only because i live about 100 miles away from the service center, and was concerned about service. I was in the area yesterday and decided to stop in speak with someone, fortunately Matt was there. He spent over an hour of his busy day with me talking about the car, options, service experience, and his personal experiences which was unbelievably helpful. He took me for a ride in a Performance Model S, as well as a used Roadster that they've got for sale (i was considering one of those) and i was very easily convinced that a Model S was the right choice.

The fact that he spend the time with me, and made me feel VERY comfortable about the level of service that he strives for, it was a total no-brainer that this is the car for me. He seems to truly care about each one of his customers, and goes to great lengths to make sure the customer has a great experience (judging by what i've read on the forums, and heard from him).

If this is just the start to the Tesla service experience, i cannot WAIT to see how it is once i actually have the car!

Honorable mention to the person a spoke with at the Natick Gallery on the phone (should have written the name down!) as they were very helpful in answering some final questions for me after my service center visit.

Ok... writing this got me all excited, i'm putting down the deposit right now!

My "vote" goes for Ben Kanner. I believe he is now a Regional Sales Manager. (My only contact with him was back in 2010, back when there was a Gallery in Boulder.)

As for my experience with Ben:
I had plans to go to Colorado for the 4th of July weekend in 2010 and I decided to see if my dad and I could test drive the Roadster. Since there was an EVent going on that weekend I called a few days prior and Ben was more than happy to help us setup a test drive. He was very courteous both on the phone and in person. Despite the EVent that weekend (which meant there was only one Roadster in the Gallery) Ben let my dad and I take the Roadster together for a half-hour after giving each of us a 10-15 minute test drive. He just handed us the key and said "watch for radar vans sitting on the side of the roads".

Ben's exemplary service that weekend has stuck with me. In fact, a few weeks ago my dad mentioned how Ben's friendly attitude towards both of us has stuck with him as well. Because our experience was so positive my dad is thinking about putting down a Model X reservation sometime in the near future.

In short: Ben provided exceptional service and was friendly throughout the entire process. He even greeted my dad and I by name later that afternoon when we walked by the gallery on our way to visit a local mall.
