Same experience. I ordered a Model S P on 9/3 and the website was showing EDD of Sep - Oct 2022 and right after I ordered, my EDD was November 27 - January 12 and still holding there. I know my wait won’t be nearly as long as some of the Model Y folks, yet it was still kind of disappointing and frustrating.
Picked up the car on Saturday, a few scratches on the front bumper but other than that flawless. Have an appointment this coming Saturday to have bumper repaired. I was expecting this so no surprise. Drove the car from LV to SoCal, stopped to use supercharger and man those things are fast. While driving I used the autopilot which was a bit glitchy until after the update was fully downloaded but then works amazing!

Yep, New EDD for me this morning as well. Went from Oct 8 - Nov 12 to Oct 13 - Nov 10.
Not much movement, but I suppose the window shrunk a bit
Just got back from pick up.
No panel gaps, super clean!
It did have the parcel shelf in the trunk, no mobile charger but they gave me $200 credit to purchase in Tesla store, it also has all seasons & I think the normal door panels.
Couldn’t be happier!
I decided to take a “refresher” test drive today, as it has been so long since ordering, I almost forgot why I wanted a MYLR in the first place. I am glad I did! The dealership was all out of MYLR demo cars, but they had plenty of MYPs available, so I took one for a spin. I had forgotten how large the interior of the MY is overall, how it handles on the road, and just how fun to drive it is. I am glad February me made a decision that September me still agrees with, and am looking forward to delivery day…sometime in the future.

I don't think the hitch slowed your delivery once its all over, you are still close to my EDDYep... but I added a hitch on April 13th that pushed my EDD to Jan 2023, which got me thinking that I went back in line.
I prefer Nov-Dec delivery so I get 2023 model year
Got a call from Tesla yesterday afternoon asking about trade-in, then this morning my delivery window narrowed to a 2 week window!
9/29/2022: October 15 - October 29
Hopefully VIN coming soon...
