Few metal clips under the center speaker grill fell behind the dash.

Installed the Infinity speakers and fixed the grill rattling with foam tape, but things got worse, a several of the metal clips were pushed and fell behind the dash. Now even more rattling sound from the clips rolling around.

Has anyone or is there any youtube take the dash apart? especially the driver side? I know how to remove the bottom panel where the puddle light near the pedals, but not the whole dash.

Watch this video, and he mentions that he pushed in the clips too. He used a magnet and a coat hanger.

If this is already fixed for you, can you explain how you did it?

yeah, I got them all out with magnet. Glued them at the end, but it is super stupid design

what kind of glue did you use? Epoxy? Super Glue?

Just a drop of super glue. Grab a piler to pull it out

I have pushed them too when putting back the wooden cover, one feel out from glove box, the other one went elsewhere. Also accidentally dropped an air fresher into the ac vent. Is there something else to open beneath the wooden cover to get all that out? What to do with ac vent?

Dropped 3 metal clips as well while trying to re-install the speaker grill. I left it for now since I was tired of fighting the grill. Haven’t noticed them rattling yet but will redo and hunt them down if it starts to.
