Film for the windshield

Anybody had any luck with protection film for the windshield? Only company i have heard of is Clearplex, but i heard that they can get scratched up by the windshield wipers. Or maybe I should wait for a free replacement windshield when Tesla build a non ghosting windshield?

What is a non ghosting windshield?

It seems I have a non ghosting windshield. They are contoured on passenger side. Search for windshield ghosting thread.

Re ClearPlex I asked two famous high end detailers in Tokyo and they both said it's not for regular drivers, but for high speed drivers to protect windshield from small rocks flying from dump trucks. They also said ClearPlex will be severely scratched by the wipers and the windshield will look dirty after a few months.
