my friend's eibach 04-22 front spring has dropped MASSIVELY by close to 2". Comparison before and after from ground is 72cm vs 69cm. It is scary low, and way OFF the advertised drop which is 1.3". I dont know why this happened though. I will be installing mine next week and now really re thinking. the rear one is perfect as advertised. just the front.

2021 MIC SR+ with LFP batteries. Any ideas?

The photo of the fronts there seems to show approx 67cm from ground to wing/fender.
72cm vs 69cm is only 3cm which is only about 1.14" which is less than the stated 1.3"

Maybe you meant 72cm vs 67cm which would be around 1.9"

Looks very low alright.

I'll be interested to know how you get on with yours.

apology ive got myself confused due to inch/cm measurement. ok so here we go
Eibach advertised 1.1 (2.794cm) rear drop and 1.3 front drop (3.302cm)
standard OEM fender to ground rear and fronts are = 72cm all round
Current drop rear is 69cm (which is 3cm and pretty spot on as advertised) however, the front drop is a massive 5cm (from 72cm to 67cm as per photo)
5cm is 1.9 inch which is way off the advertised front drop.

I hope this clears everything. I am only hoping that my front wont be that low TBH

That's what I thought you were saying alright. The car does look well but possibly a little too low at the front alright. Please post pics of yours when done. I'm picking up my car next Thursday and lowering it would be on my "to do" list alright. At least you've cleared up my query regarding the correct Eibach set. Thanks for that.

This additional drop could be due to the much heavier weight of the LFP vs the NCA batteries which would have been the previous reference. Still looks quite exaggerated. Could look better with spacers (15/20mm) to push out the wheels
Possibly. But battery location is on the belly bit so unsure if this should affect front part of the car. And if its the battery, the rear should drop too if it makes sense? Could be the additional heat pump weight under frunk maybe?

Was thinking the exact same thing myself.
He is against spacers. But im running 20/25 on mine. I think it will look aggressive with a nice stance too. Just have to be careful with scrapings. So far he hasnt scraped the front (which is surprisingly low) but instead scraping the rear tiny flap just before the rear wheel. Which is quite a surprise as the rear sits higher and should bring the clearance bit more
