I swore I'd never register on these forums and post until I ordered my own Model S, so I've been lurking for about a year now... Thanks to my house (finally!) coming within 6 months of finishing construction combined with the unbelievable financing options Tesla has now made available through Alliant (78 mo @ 1.79%!) I am now the proud claimant of a model S on order.

Great order @MagisDragonis ! I really like your choices. Congrats!
The red is fantastic, and not that common on the roads around here (ground zero for Teslas). It really sticks out. And I use the pano roof all the time. If the outside temperature is one degree cooler than my climate control setting, I'm opening it. If the sun is angled in such a way as to not hit me, I'm opening it. Even if I can only do 10% opening. My right-scroll button on the steering wheel is set to control the pano.
And well, one should never get a Tesla without AP. This is the killer feature that makes long drives and road trips so much easier! You will be more relaxed, and will enjoy the scenery that much more.

Wonder if you can have them work a referral link in your oder for a cool $1k off?

Thanks for the good vibes everyone. @Ashkenaz Regarding no premium sound, I've read a lot of mixed reviews and usually listen to my audible subscription rather than the radio. Honestly, I'm not much of an audiophile so I'm good with the pass on that - I can always install an aftermarket if I get the bug.

@e-FTW I can't say how glad I am to hear about the pano - I'll be interested to see how much I use it in Tampa, but I love fresh air and sun so I'm hoping a lot!. Agreed re: Autopilot, the killer technology is reason #1 for me buying this car at all. I thought the referral promotions were done?

I would ring up your Delivery Specialist (may be early for that in your case, so try the local store crew if need be). Have them add a referral code to your order.
Plenty of those flying around today. If you PM someone (me?) around here that has proven helpful, they'll send you the referral link you need to provide to Tesla. From that other thread, it sounds like it possible, at least for a Memorial day weekend order.
Granted, that person was ordering her second Tesla, which may very well be why they made the exception. Build a good case, send a nice message, you never know!

When did you place your order? If you did it May 30th or later you can use my referral code and get $1k off your order Referral | Tesla Motors

If you happened to order before May 30th, but less than 7 days ago I recommend canceling your order (you can do so less than 7 days after your order with no penalty) then reorder with my referal code to get the $1k off. AP is the main reason I ordered new and didn't get a CPO car.

I too just took the plunge and ordered a similar car confirmed on 6/1/16. Since I'll be picking it up in Brandon, our cars might end up on the same truck.

@MagisDragonis I will pick up in Brandon but live a little north of Ft. Myers. I liked the lighter look of the grey seats and hope they wont show as much beach sand as my current vehicle's black leather seats.
