Ponte Vedra company in $30M legal battle with Wells Fargo Oh, and Richard Willich was also a big financial donor to our wildly popular Governor Rick Scott..... To paraphrase Somerset Maugham: Florida = A sunny place for shady people?
No, I expect that a banking executive will make sure this asset is well looked after. Larry
I know of this guy. He was nice enough to let me charge during my 380 mile trip from Atlanta to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL last December. He installed a NEMA 14-50 outside of his office to charge his Tesla.
I'm guessing from the press stories, that he wasn't paying for the electricity out of his own pocket....
According to my sources in PVB and based on my visit to the company HQ; he spent a fortune building the facility (horrible location) and on the art inside. Apparently, he has one of the largest collections of art from renowned Florida artists. My brother drove by the bulding the other day and said the Roadster is still parked in the same spot we left it last December. I've become numb to stories about bankers making dumb lending decisions.
I was in PVB on 20 April and drove by his office building. The parking lot was vacant except for a Roadster in the same spot I last saw it in December. I'll have my brother snap a photo of it.
