Me and my wife are using my brother-in-law's reservation to purchase a Model 3 and I intend to finance a portion of the purchase price. I've got two loan pre-approvals and both banks want a signed purchase agreement as a condition of funding the loan. The order agreement has my brother-in-law's name but the registration info has been filled with the names of my wife and I. Will the final purchase agreement include his name or ours? Is that something you can request to be changed?
Our VIN was just assigned yesterday. We don't have a delivery date yet and the Payment Method section for the car on Tesla's site currently says "As your delivery date approaches, we will require information about your loan and lender."
Has anyone else faced a similar situation?
