Looking at their sites, the lowest rate is up to to 2.49% Any other options? My delivery is set for next month and I know rates are on the rise, but figure it's worth a shot.

Did you give them a call? The rates they provided over the phone for the Tesla were different compared to their site. Otherwise, check out credit unions for the lowest rates.

I've typically found local credit unions to offer the best rates on car loans. We financed our Tesla locally here in the Portland Oregon area for 1.49% in December. Another local credit union is offering 1.79% currently but will also match lower rates.

Rate on the tesla website still shows 2.25. Did the 72 or 60 month rates go up as well?

I just applied even though I'm 45 days out, will update when I hear back. I applied ~45minutes ago and my Sales Advisor already emailed to let me know I was approved.

My Delivery Specialist won't even reply to my emails, stark contrast.

Got a quote for 1.99 for 60, or 3.09 for 72. Will probably go with Alliant @ 2.49 if that's the best financing through Tesla can do.

I was all set to pick up my car tomorrow and I called Alliant to give them my delivery date, I'd already been approved. And they told me rates went up to 3.24% for 60 months, 3.49% for 72 months and 4.24% for 84 months. Now I have to spend another day or so looking at local CU for better rates.

I went with Nik Rozgaja at Texans Credit Union. They were .75 below alliant 2.99 for 84 months on a CPO.

Nik was great to work with and responsive.

When I placed the order for my car (Jan 15) Alliant was at 1.74% for 72 months and when I called them last week to get an application in they were at 2.49% for 72 months. I went with a local credit union at 2.24% for 72 months but they let the rate lock stay in place for as long as I need it. My projected delivery date is Mid March.

Ordered a 100D last night and received an email from a Tesla finance coordinator today. The people Tesla are going through are offering 1.99 for 72 months 10% or more down through March 31st. Hope my car is delivered by then

That's with the "equity discount" - whatever that is. Without it, rates are 0.5% higher.

When does one start financing? My car says late March early April delivery.

    No one contacted me.

Last minute if you want. Depends on how fast your lender works. Within 30 days of delivery is usual so no pre-approval docs have to be updated.

I was contacted by Tesla less than 24 hours after submitting my order. He did say the approval was good for 30 days so I said I would not unfreeze my credit for the "approval" until I saw something concrete on my order page for delivery

Is a financing coordinator different from a delivery specialist? I was planning on putting more than 10%.
