I would think rates would be really good because the fed just cut the rate this week and the 10yr is at extremely low. I am calling my credit union Monday morning, just found out I can take delivery end of month.

Bro, ask for Senior Enlisted discount not sure if they have Senior Officer equivalent discount.

Also, they have 0.25% off if u have been with NFCU => 25 years, or right now (if active duty or retired).

How are you guys getting better than the advertised 2.69% at BoA? Are you including preferred rewards discounts in your lower numbers or are you able to get lower numbers by speaking with someone?

My credit union still shows this on their site : "Rates as low as 3.44%APR". I am probably better off going elsewhere as I am seeing sub 3%, BofA shows 2.69%.

I applied for DCU and it offered 2.24% for 65 months.

Then I told BoA about DUC rate. BoA couldn't match 100%. The best they could do was 2.45% & 65 months (instead of 60 months because DCU's rate is 65 months). If you use an online calculator, the difference isn't that big..several hundreds of dollar difference. That's why I decided to go with BoA instead of DCU. BTW, there's no early payoff penalty.

And if you look at the online reviews of DCU, they seem unreliable. For the difference, I'd rather stick with BoA.
