Finding the right tesla part number, dimming side mirrors for 2018?

For 2020 MY M3 the side mirrors are no longer auto dimming, so I am trying to figure out how to read the tesla parts catalog to order the right mirrors (the auto dimming ones) for my 2018 M3.

Any help?
I see the following on tesla parts website

Not sure which parts I need for my left side (drivers) mirror. I need the entire assembly.

If you have a 2018 M3 car, then the mirror assembly that you need is LH (left hand) EC (electrochromatic) parts. If you are trying to install the EC mirror on a MY 2020 M3, then as @MP3Mike says, the wiring needed to control the EC mirror, along with the on-screen menu that will enable them probably will not exist.

Thank you "EC" is what I was looking for! my 3 is a 2018. I just wanted to make sure the body shop doesn't screw up ordering a 2020 Model 3 part.

Note that in the parts listing there are at least TWO LH EC mirror assemblies (part #1 in the drawing): -J and -L. I have NO idea what the differences are so the best best would be to see if you can get the part number that's stamped into the assembly you are replacing.

Supposing they do work, are you sure they'll be better for you? I've driven Model 3s with and without auto dimming at night, and much prefer without. Even without dimming, I find I can see clearly enough at night. I had imagined that Tesla realized they weren't adding much value and got rid of it to simplify things.

I'm only replacing 1 out of 2 out of necessity rather than preference so was looking to keep both sides equal/OEM.

Thank you; I will look after I take it out.... my tesla service center has not returned my calls in the past couple of days to confirm pricing... smh.
