Two other UK FB group members reporting an "update available" notification on their apps. Not me though :-(

So to pre-empt the inevitable... please all remember that

1. There is no known rhyme or reason about the order software updates get delivered to cars. Seriously, it's based on decisions made inside Tesla that could well include an element of randomness. Do not try to find a pattern as you will inevitably fail (and still not have the software anyway!)
2. There is no evidence to suggest that connecting to wifi makes any difference (though obviously having no signal at all does not help :)

Wonder if the backup guidelines requires the newer hardware (i.e. autopilot)? I had previously heard that the reason cars didn't have the reverse guidelines was that there was some hardware component lacking.

I think that was mostly speculation. But until one of us pre 10k vin cars gets it we wont really know.

Also from the OP:

"Some pics from the UK, non-autopilot car (not my own)."

Exemplary posting, mgboyes, and it's nice to see the Brits getting an update before anyone else! :) Breaks the notion that USA cars or even Californian cars get them first.

This looks like an amazing set of updates. I've suffered from the lack of quite a few of these improvements... no backup lines, tunein podcast transport controls, shuffle mode. Nice!

Next on the navigation improvements hopefully will be taking altitude into account. Journeys between two towns that are at different altitudes take different amounts of energy depending on which direction you go.

Then - allow for supercharging along the route and suggest charging at them!
