Yes. Showed up Tesla Firmware Upgrade Tracker Web App a few hours ago. Like you I'm also waiting to hear what's included.

Looks like all 3 cars that received it are AP1.

It removes the performance limits. I'll come back and post a link to the post that shows the screen shot.

    Edit: Here's the post--

Pack Performance and Launch Mode Limits

As noted above, you can find it on TeslaFi or ev-fw.com. I found it on TeslaFi.

Thanks. I knew about ev-fw.com but until now I didn't know it had that option.

What site can I go to for a very simple - this is the release version, and these are the new features? I dont want nicknames and number of people who have it by when, irrelevant, just want to know what the changes were for each version. Release notes are fine (but limited), plain english experience would be better. Where does this exist?

    It doesn't.

Feel free to start that site if that's what you want.

Generally the changes made to the different releases are discussed in the main version thread. That would be here, for version 8, in the Version 7 thread for that version, etc.

You'd think that Tesla would publish that "change log" DOC ... eh? :(

It certainly would be helpful if someone collated all the chat on the forums into a Features Added and Bugs Found list.

    :)

I'd love to, but i am not on here enough to be up-to-speed with all the Features and Issues folk find. That's probably true of most folk though ... perhaps a website where you can "report a version / feature (list)" and "Report a new issue" too - it could just grow over time then, and if people could tick "I also have / do NOT have that issue" that would give an indication of how widespread it was.

There is a changelog thread but I don't have time to search for the link.

Thanks, I had a quick search and turned up a thread in the Wiki - might that be it?

    Model S software/firmware changelog

Most recent edit is about v2.50.114 on Dec 27, 2016 - that thread might need some love!

    Actually, it does exist!
Right here on TMC as a wiki post:

    Model S software/firmware changelog

It needs some updates, but it's a good start.
No need to reinvent the wheel! ;)

That's it! The only contributor to that thread that added a lot of value was @Ingineer and he doesn't post here much anymore.

Just update to v8.0(17.5.36), AP2.0 now supports Autosteer While on Local Road with a maximum speed of 35 mph.
