Just turn down the brightness in night mode, it does reduce the distractions noticeably.

Maybe thinking of a clean overview helps understanding what I mean.

Like putting everything you don't need at the moment on your desk in a drawer. The OS forces you to have something on your desk, even if you currently don't need Navigation, Music, or whatelse.

I shouldn't have talked about the night, because orderly or tidy space would be very welcome at anytime.
