Unless the newer car lost ventilated seats. Occasionally Teslas lose features. I’m not trying to argue, I agree with the sentiment of everything here. So bored waiting and excited for my MYP.

I recall it being a 3-4 week shutdown. I'm sure someone will post the article. Too lazy to go looking for it again, but think it was published in July.
On East Coast.... Just checked in and EDD moved from 10/25 - 11/14 TO 10/11 - 10/31 ... With the shareholder "reveal" next week, I really think my Model Y is coming out of Austin.

I’m waiting to place an order for a MYP, so i can take delivery in Jan or Feb 2022, not in a rush, rather get a 2022 myp and possible qualify for the tax credit

Taking advantage of the increased value on my 2018 LR RWD is the primary reason I've decided to upgrade to MY and I've been nervous it could drop at any time. I know the chip shortages are still impacting new car production but valuation drops often happen quickly and I'd rather strike while the iron is hot.
For what it's worth, I visited NHTSA Decoder put in a VIN of my 2021 Model Y, changed the year to 2022 (M to N), changed the check digit and it shows as a valid VIN.
