First 60kWH delivery notice or email - who will it be?

Feb 3-17 delivery window for multicoat red exterior with 60 kwh battery, which is much sooner than Apr/May quoted upon finalization!

I hope you get it that soon, but both my wife and I are somewhat upset since we choose Blue (which is still a fantastic color) since we were told March/April for Sunset Red. Now it's too late to change.

There are posts on the Red delivery thread saying someone called TM. Seems the red delivery windows for Jan-Early Feb. are wrong.

So now that 60 kWh are getting solid delivery windows, has anyone actually been contacted by a delivery specialist? Would be interested in hearing from the first person to be contacted with a solid single date rather than a window, and would also be interested in hearing about the 1st reported case where Tesla called or emailed you rather than one of us emailing or calling them first (not counting the auto email after you fill out the delivery questions). But most of all I suppose the best objective measure of the real deal about to be delivered would be VIN assignment.

Has anyone been contacted bout a Jan 14th or 15th delivery? Has anyone with a 60 kWh battery received a VIN?

P 6422 60kWh blue/tan/obeche gloss with tech package, air suspension, rear child seats, solid roof, 19" wheels. Got a window of 1/26-2/9.

Will be picking up at the Chicago service center. I live like 1 mile away.

I'm P6316 and I got my 'Delivery Information Requested' last night with a window of 2/1 - 2/15.

60 kWh, silver/grey/matte obeche with body colored roof, air suspension, 19' wheels, tech package, super charger, sound package coming to Austin, Texas.

I don't think anyone has reported delays in production due to panoramic roofs.

Many getting windows have them, including me. Hope you get yours soon!

Nope, I'm P2595 and my window is 1/20 - 2/3. I'm getting white exterior, black leather, matte obeche, tech, sound, air susp, pano, paint protection.

Called Tesla this afternoon to check and no VIN for me yet, but he said, "it should be any day now". I told him I'd call back every couple of days. It's going to be hard not to call every single day though...

That's encouraging. My window is a few days after yours, so I'll resist the urge to call TM and let you early 60 kWh guys be the canaries! Let us know what you learn.

Welcome! MVPA stands for Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement, and are the legal documents that you must sign to get your car. It has the pricing for all options, taxes, etc., spelled out for you so that you know what your final payment to Tesla would be. In my original MVPA the Louisiana registration, titling, and transfer fee was $187. I added the Tech Package, so they had to generate a new MVPA. In the new one the fees had increased to $1620. When I questioned this, my Tesla rep explained that they got this info directly from the Louisiana DMV, and probably reflected some new law just enacted or some state fee that had been tacked onto EV purchases. Have you ordered your Model S yet? I test drove it in Dallas (after I'd put down my deposit), and was hooked. I know that you'll enjoy yours too!

I test drove in Dallas also. I waited to make the deposit till they announced the TX test drive however so I am #10542. Still waiting on my delivery e-mail which I am optimistically hoping for next week. Probably too optimistic.

Did they tell you where you would be delivered out of? Houston?
They were supposedly looking at Baton Rouge for a service center but that won't help you up north like you are ;-P

Let me know how it goes. Map does not show too many LA deliveries. Hoping the others are just shy. Or waiting to see ours!!

Haven't heard word yet on where it's coming from. I've heard that they're building a Service Center in Dallas, which is a shorter drive than Baton Rouge (3 vs 4 hrs).

Will keep you posted - today I just got my NEMA 14-50 electrical outlet installed in the garage in preparation. Hope others in LA will see our cars & decide to join the bandwagon, too!
