I'll let the coordinator fill in the details, but we had a great turnout and drive to Cripple Creek, CO.
Thanks everyone for making that a successful event. We had a lot of fun!
We left Cripple Creek with 60% standard charge on the Roadster -- about 117 miles ideal, and 126 miles to home. We got to Colorado Springs with about 55% charge -- 99 ideal, 86 miles to go. We decided to go for it, and try to make it all the way home. However, the highway eats up those ideal miles quick. I think we could have made it, but my wife had range anxiety, so we stopped at the Kaiser Permanente building in Lone Tree. They have 4 free 30A chargers. There was a coffee shop, Java Jam, with live music right around the corner, and we ended up staying way longer than we needed.
No competition for the chargers here:
