I connected with Rafael yesterday afternoon while he was charging at the Rabobank in Goleta. I had a coffee with him at the Fresca North Cafe right next door.

Yesterday evening I tried to locate him with the OVMS--didn't show up. Later on the OVMS showed him in Ventura where I assume he spent the night. Today I couldn't find him either--except once briefly--on Santa Monica Blvd--I think he was at a hotel right across the street from the Tesla dealer.

Here's hoping the Chinese move up the date of his drive through permit!!

Thursday June 7th - Rafael appears to be in Santa Monica, with the car parked very near Santa Monica Blvd just a block east of the 405. That's pretty close to Tesla LA.
