Nice! Looks awesome, can't wait.
Very cool. Wish we could see how it handles curves!
That is freakin awesome. Driving is so yesterday....
I so excite
This looks awesome! Who's car is it? A beta tester or is Tesla jumping the gun on their Thursday wide release?
Anyone else literally have dreams about their tesla having autopilot? I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but it happened to me last night.
LOL I am daydreaming everyday.
Someone just lost access to the Early Access Program...
Too bad for him. However I've never singed any NDA with TESLA.
did anyone see what the music was? It was too low res for me to read.
Also, I'm not sure I like the new interface but this is probably not the thread for that.
I knew someone would ask, and I also liked it. It's "Where is the love" by Josh Vietti. Courtesy of Shazam
Might just have to run that song the first time I use autopilot... It'll forever keep the memories haha
That would be this.
Here you go. Brand new video from WSJ:
Tesla Downloads 'Autopilot' to Its Vehicles
Interesting quote: "In a nod to regulators, the car makes you put your hands back on the wheel every so often, or it will start to slow down and bleat at the driver with a warning bell."
Every so often = timed?
How would Tesla know who that is?

Ever so often the car comes to an exit ramp and the right lane line veers off. Ever so often the car comes to an on ramp that causes the lane line gap to widen. Ever so often there is patchwork on the road that obscures a lane line for a second or two.
The problem is that if this operates like MB then even though the car has locked back on the lane lines within a second or two the system will still force you to grab the steering wheel when it is totally unnecessary.
"Turn Stalk" lol. How about "turn signal".
Well that sounds like it will suck.
"It will even be able to fully parallel park itself on city streets." ... As the guy pushes the "parking lights" button on the screen. Haha.
I'm actually shocked that someone would use their parking lights when parked.
