First official Model 3 picture?

That's the Model S Alpha Prototype from back before anyone knew what it would look like. Tesla couldn't build it that way because of bumper requirements, etc., etc. I suppose they could show it again, and then have to redesign it again.

It's the same blacked-out picture that was posted to twitter. The twitter pic has a Model S and X next to the blank space. The blank car is depicted as being dimensionally the same as Model S, which leads me to believe that there are no actual clues here.

Elon: Surprise, we are renaming the Model S, Model 3 and lowering the price to $35k.

do you think those of us doing in store reservations on the 31st before the reveal get to see any photos before they swipe our credit cards?

I was told exactly that when I talked to someone at the store in Charlotte. They said we would get to see a picture(s) before putting down money. Of course, that may have been an assumption and not confirmed fact.

Most likely they would have it blocked from view, and you wouldn't be allowed to have your phone out if they did that.

I heard something similar from a Product Specialist in Vancouver. She was saying something about us getting to see the car before we placed our deposit, but English wasn't her first language, so something may have gotten lost in translation.

Technically I think it was the concept car, and the Alphas came later.
I think it may have been built on a Daimler E350 chassis.
The Alpha prototypes were real Tesla designed chassis.

The Mt. Kisco NY store confirmed for me we would not be seeing photos until the reveal
