"First Production"

When you order a 3 now, it is referred to as "first production". They removed the Alcantera headliner so thats not a thing anymore, but I wonder when "first production" will be over, when they will remove that verbiage and if in the future there will be a way to tell something is first production (like maybe they will take the gloss covers near the cupholder would change to matte and so if you saw the gloss ones you would know it was a first production, etc.) My guess is 100k is first production, would love to hear your theories.

First Production is simply the first configuration combination they produced and thus, the earliest car you can get. As things like Standard Battery, AWD, Performance, etc. are added to the configurator, titles will be altered to reflect the different options available.

First production will be over as soon as a 2nd production option is available— which appears to be AWD in the next couple of months. I assume LR + PUP will still be available; it just won’t be first production.
