Came across this on YouTube just now. That poor Model X!
Good stuff happens around 14:30
I went over to my local CALFIRE station yesterday on an insurance related matter, but then demonstrated the X to the assembled fire fighters. They loved the car, but their first questions were about extraction and the falcon sing doors. I've sent this video over to the fire captain, so thanks for posting it, loganintx.
thanks for posting this but this vid is old news.
it's unlikely that many on this forum have seen it. i certainly haven't and I've read every Model X post for the past 90 days.
I also don't think it's old or new news. it's just an instructional video for first responders.
My friend this doesn't need to be confrontational but this has been covered a lot over the years.
That's for the Model S. Not the Model X.
There is information here regarding FWD, and maybe other elements (that I haven't reviewed fully), but I don't see why this is a problem to post in the Model X forum, as it is indeed about the X.
And it was posted to YouTube 1 day ago. Seemed relevant to me!
The fire captain I sent the video to emailed me with his appreciation for it.
I have sent it to my local fire chiefs too. This sort of stuff is not BAU to many fire departments and the clues and techniques within this short video could be important in some scenarios.
