First road trip model 3 long range

Figured this would be a fun thread. We’re taking our first road trip in the M3LR, driving down to Disney from PA, so far so good.

Using the FSD beta most of the way, so far no major hiccups with it driving. A few construction areas I felt more comfortable driving myself over using the FSD due to the lunatics weaving in and out of traffic on I-95.

Stopped at Chesapeake House supercharger at the I-95 rest area and then at the Stafford VA SC at a Wawa.

Edit: damn autocorrect changed long to ling 😫

Day two...

Traveled 634 miles and stopped to charge 8 times, a few while my mom wanted to eat or take a stretch.

Started in Fredericksburg, VA, heading to the local SC before heading down to the Petersburg, VA SC at the Sheetz. Continued down I95 to Rocky Mount, NC and then Fayetteville, NC.

Stopped at the cheesy but endearing South of the Border before charging at the Buc-ee's in Florence, SC. Let it charge to >90% while shopping.

Stopped for dinner in Walterboro, SC at Cookout, great hamburgers and hush puppies BTW. Charged while eating.
Then stopped for a quick top off in Hardeeville, SC before making our way to Kingsland, GA where our hotel had tesla wall chargers as a perk for their guests. The receptionist turned the chargers on with a key at the electric panel. Currently charging to 100% for our last leg of the journey down to Disney World for the week.

I would say that it only added an hour or so time over what we would normally stop in an ICE vehicle, if I wasn't doing 80 mph it would have been more efficient.

Made it to Disney today with one charge at the Palm Coast Supercharger by the Wawa. My hotel last night in Kingsland had Tesla Wall charger and I was able to charge to 97% and have a preconditioned battery before leaving this morning.

I really liked that there was an accessible spot for my mom to get in and out of at the Palm coast SC.
