Apparently, all those Fiskers sparked the interest of one security guard. Sounds like they had an enjoyable time though, and probably had a great time getting to finally meet one another from the forums.

As a whole, the car is a head-turner, but just not for me. I have to say I like the blue color though...

Exactly my thought. Give me the fisker design/look, especially that blue over Tesla's blue, but with Tesla innards and I'd be in heaven.

I think what they don't get is that although Tesla fans obviously feel the Model S is better than the Karma, none of us want to see the company fail. Given Tesla also has an ATVM loan, we are pretty much on the same boat. They should be focusing their energy on the people who are truly against them.

Yeah, No animosity of any kind. Wanted/want them to succeed Tesla the company may be holding a grudge with the lawsuit and all, bit we car buyers who want to support the new powertrain paradigm wanted the Fisker, the Karma and the Atlantic to be fruitful and prosper.

I think that while you two have never wanted Fisker to fail or have been petulant or attacking in your postings on Fisker or the Karma, others on this forum have. Unfortunately, those posts have been more sensational and attention-grabbing than your more sage, factual, and level-headed posts. It isn't as if all TMC posters are like you two and all FBuzz posters, or even all of the people involved in the "meet up," are childish.

Happily, it seems from the information available here that this ended up just fine.
