I wish them luck, honestly. Competition is good, and if they can out-do Tesla that's a great thing for everyone. That said, I don't hold high hopes of this happening, talk is cheap.

I hope the Asian countries do make good electric cars, and bring prices down.
Tesla compare their gen3 to a 3series, but some people can't afford bmws, they drive toyotas and nissans...

This is good! Tesla's goal to accelerate the pace of electrification of transport is working. Go Fisker! (And I hope they drop the ER part and just keep the EV).

I think their only chance is the Atlantic. The Karma now has new competitors (i8 the big one, ELR less so) and the problems with it (plus the association with the bankruptcy) seems to be more trouble than it's worth.

I don't see the parallels. Tesla never went into bankruptcy although Elon Musk said he expected Tesla to fail but it was worth the risk. Lu Guanqiu says he plans to topple Tesla. These companies are run by people with two very different philosophies.

In my 2011 Volt, I've used 0.2 gallons of gas and have driven just over a 1000 miles in the past few weeks!!! Close enough to electric for me (until the Model X is out but Volt is staying in family).
